What's coronary arteries?

Coronary arteries also known as heart blood vessels,this blood vessels wrapped around the heart and supply oxygen-rich blood to heart muscle.We know all organs need blood to function.If the blood vessels was blocked or narrowed during to some reasons,restrict the blood supply to the heart muscle,it will cause chest tightness,shortness of breath and chest pain.

What's is EECP?

EECP treatment is a non-invasive non-surgical treatment for coronary artery disease.

EECP Principle:
While doing treatment,patient will be asked to lying on the comfortable bed,with cuffs wrapped around the lower limbs.3 Leads ecg electrodes will be attached to your chest to collect your heart rate.The cuffs inflate and deflate is timed with your heart rhythm.While heart at the rest period,the cuffs inflated in sequence from calve to thigh and buttocks,pushing the lower limbs blood flow back to your heart muscle.So the heart get more blood.The increased blood flow also help to forming small vessels across the blockages which is called “natural bypass” to supply the oxygen-rick blood to the ischemic area that not receiving before.So as to relieve the chest pain.
At the onset of heart pumping,all cuffs deflate at the same time.Reduce the cardiac workload.
Overall,The treatment is very comfortable,just like leg massage.You can go home after the treatment is finished and there is no special recovery time needed.You can resume your normal activities right away.

How long does it take?

The procedure usually takes 35 one-hour sessions,one hour per day,5days per week for 7 weeks.
Also patient can take 2 hour per day(one hour in the morning one hour in the afternoon) if patient can tolerate it,5 days per week for 3.5 weeks.
